Alethea Varra

Alethea Varra is a seasoned mental health executive with extensive experience in clinical care and program management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Clinical Care at Lyra Health since May 2021, Alethea drives clinical strategy and oversees quality and training in therapy programs. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Mental Health Officer for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' VISN 19 Rocky Mountain Network, where Alethea managed regional mental health operations across numerous facilities. Alethea has held various leadership roles, including Director of the National Telemental Health Hub and executive oversight for multiple telemedicine operations. Alethea's academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Dartmouth College and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Alethea currently holds a position on the Board of Trustees for The Trust, beginning in January 2024.
