Alissa Bankowski

Alissa Bankowski has several years of experience in product design, creative direction, and graphic design. Alissa is currently working as a Product Design Lead at Lyrasis since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Founder and Creative Director at Graefic Design, a creative studio they established in 2007 to provide brand development, website design, and marketing assistance to local small businesses. Alissa has also worked as a Product Design Lead at Evive | goevive.com in 2022 and held multiple roles at BiblioLabs (a division of LYRASIS) from 2012 to 2022, including Product Design Lead, Creative Director, Brand Manager, Product Designer, and Graphic Designer. Before joining BiblioLabs, they worked as a Graphic Artist II at the Medical University of South Carolina from 2010 to 2012 and as a Senior Art Intern at Charleston Magazine in 2010. In 2009, Alissa worked as a Graphic Designer at No Limit Graphics, where they handled various design projects for local small businesses.

Alissa Bankowski completed their high school education at Bethel High School from 2002 to 2006, earning a High School Diploma. Alissa then attended Coastal Carolina University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design. In 2015, they pursued a UX certification from NYU School of Professional Studies but did not complete a specific degree program. Additionally, they obtained a certification in UX Fundamentals from New York University in June 2015.
