Bill Walters

Bill Walters is an experienced stage manager and assistant stage manager with a diverse background in theatrical production. Currently serving as Assistant Stage Manager and Super Captain at the Lyric Opera of Chicago since July 2005, Bill coordinates casting and scheduling for opera productions. Previous roles include stage manager for Porchlight Music Theatre, where productions such as "Chess In Concert" were overseen, and stage manager positions at Barn Theatre and Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, which featured significant premieres. Bill has also held stage management roles at notable theaters, leading over 25 productions at Drury Lane Oak Brook and managing various musical productions at Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. Bill's educational background includes studies at Loyola University Chicago from 1974 to 1976.
