Cheryl Warfield

Cheryl Warfield is an accomplished professional in the arts and finance sectors, currently serving as a chorister at the Lyric Opera of Chicago since February 2022 and as the founder and artistic director of MORE Opera, a culturally responsive opera company in Manhattan established in January 2000. Warfield has held various roles, including teaching artist and music director for Bronx Opera Co since April 2017, and founder and general director of ADVANCE-Association, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to vocal arts. With extensive experience in accounting, Warfield has worked as the controller for the New York Society Library and served as director of finance for the Learning Disabilities Association New York City. Additionally, Warfield performed the role of Santuzza in "Cavalleria Rusticana" for MARTHA CARDONA OPERA and consulted at Robert Half Finance & Accounting for nearly two decades. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting from The Ohio State University and graduate studies in Education at Fordham University.
