Neal Long

Neal Long has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Neal started their career as a Youth Psychosocial Attendant Care Worker at The Guidance Center in 2015. Neal then transitioned to roles such as Director of Youth Ministries and Director of Worship Arts at First United Methodist Church. In 2016, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Kansas while also working as a Tours Coordinator at Spencer Museum of Art. Neal later worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Missouri Western State University in 2021. Neal also served as a Soloist/Section Leader at Westport Presbyterian Church from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, they held positions as Executive Director at The Meadowlark Project and Music Director at Shawnee Mission Unitarian Universalist Church. Neal's most recent roles include Manager of Education and Community Engagement and Director of Learning at Lyric Opera Of Kansas City. Throughout their career, they also worked as a Freelance Musician.

Neal Long completed a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano at the University of Nevada, Reno from 2009 to 2012. Neal then pursued a Master of Music degree in Voice at The University of Kansas, which they completed from 2015 to 2018. Neal Long furthered their education by pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Voice at The University of Kansas from 2018 to 2021.
