Bjørnar Valen

Bjørnar Valen currently serves as Team Lead for Cloud Infrastructure at Lyse Tele, a major telecommunications provider in Norway, beginning in February 2024. Previously, Bjørnar held the position of Team Lead at Altibox AS from June 2015 to June 2024, overseeing multiple datacenter sites and managing a nine-person team. Additional experience includes serving as Chairman Of The Board for both Tottenhams Venner, an official supporters club for Tottenham Hotspur, and Kvartalet Tasta Borettslag, a housing cooperative. Bjørnar has also held various IT roles, including IT Team Leader at Symfoni neXt AS and Network Technician at Telenor. Early career experience includes working as a Security Guard at Hafslund Sikkerhet Bedrift and serving on the board of WarpCrew, a non-profit organization promoting IT among youth in western Norway. Education was completed at Randaberg VGS from 1999 to 2002.
