James Latorre

Jim 's original career was built in international equity investing. He co-founded the firm Northern Cross which, over the course of nearly three decades, grew to manage in excess of $60 billion of investor assets. Jim led the research effort in the 1990s and later transitioned onto the portfolio management team. Jim had previously been a domestic equity portfolio manager with the Ivy Fund. He was first in his class at Boston College, where he earned an MS in Finance. Jim also holds a BA in Economics from Fairfield University. Prior to co-founding Lytica, he was on the Board of Trustees at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Jim is insatiably curious and looks forward to building a novel framework for understanding and developing antimicrobial therapeutics.
