Mohamed Ali has worked as a Lead Data Engineer at Lytica Inc. starting from September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company from April 2018 to September 2022. In their role as a Software Engineer, Mohamed worked closely with project managers and testing team members, designed and developed Java applications, implemented scalable applications using machine learning, and performed information identification, extraction, analysis, transformation, and storage.
Before joining Lytica Inc., Mohamed worked as a Software Developer at Gnowit Inc. from May 2017 to April 2018. In this role, they coordinated with project management staff, identified new technologies and tools for enhancing product value and increasing team productivity, and contributed to the development and maintenance of multiple web applications.
Mohamed Ali completed their Bachelor's Degree in Communications Engineering from Carleton University, where they attended from 2012 to 2016. Mohamed then went on to pursue their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Data Science at the same university from 2017 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, Mohamed Ali obtained a certification in Java from TestDome in July 2019.
