Shareef Hendricks

Shareef Hendricks currently serves as the Head of Retail and Brand at M.A. Al Abdul Karim & Co, overseeing 180+ stores and a team of over 1,000 employees, focusing on revenue growth and customer satisfaction since May 2023. Prior experience includes co-founding and managing Bespoke Furniture Home, where turnover exceeded 5 million ZAR and store count grew from 4 to 8. As the Head of Retail Sales and Operations at Levi Strauss & Co., Shareef managed 40 stores and was accountable for profitability and P&L metrics. Previous roles include Head of Retail at Basicxx Middle East, where store expansion from 9 to 20 was achieved, and Brand Director at Cenomi Retail, directing various fashion and footwear brands across multiple countries. Shareef Hendricks is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, specializing in Leadership and Innovation at Edinburgh Napier University, following a degree in Business Communication Marketing Management from INTEC Education College.
