John Ohman

John Ohman is currently the Senior Vice President, Strategy + Development at Mortenson. John has extensive experience in private equity and has been involved in many different aspects of the industry. Prior to their current position, they were the President, North America Operations for GeoTegrity - Far East Eco Pack from June 2010 to April 2011. John was also the Vice President of Marketing and Development for Centex Homes from May 2004 to August 2009. In this role, they built a strategic marketing organization that delivered consumer insights and demand forecasting for the multibillion-dollar home builder. Ohman also has experience working with new polymer from renewable resources and was responsible for the home textile business P&L at Cargill Dow LLC from May 1999 to May 2004. John led a global team including commercial, marketing, and technical experts to build the business in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Ohman started their career at Cargill as a trader/analyst and eventually became a Project Team Leader/Engagement Manager from July 1995 to May 1999.

John Ohman has an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in Economics, John'story and Music from the University of Vermont.
