Aku Hiltunen

Aku Hiltunen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Aku is currently employed as a Business & Data Analyst at M-Files since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Analyst at Symbio from September 2020 to April 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, Aku held multiple roles at Valmet. Aku started as a Trainee, working on various data-related requests as a part of the BI team, using tools like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and QlikView. Later, they transitioned into a Data Analyst position, where they worked with Power BI and external databases to provide timely and data-driven analysis to internal stakeholders.

In 2018, Aku worked as a Course Assistant at Tampere University of Technology for a few months. Prior to this, they served as a Research Assistant at the same university from 2015 to 2017.

Aku's professional journey began at Keski-Pohjanmaan erikoissairaanhoito ja peruspalvelukuntayhtymä, where they worked as an Archives Secretary in 2014, 2013, and 2012. In this role, they handled customer service, managed physical and digital files, and dealt with various administrative tasks related to patient requests and hospital departments.

Throughout their career, Aku has acquired skills in data analysis, database querying, data modeling, and visualization. Aku is proficient in tools like Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and QlikView.

Aku Hiltunen obtained a high school degree from Kiviniityn lukio in 2010. Aku then attended Tampere University of Technology from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information and knowledge management. Subsequently, Aku continued their education at Tampere University of Technology from 2016 to 2018, completing a Master's Degree in the same field of study.
