Allen Fang

Allen Fang has extensive work experience in the accounting and auditing field. Allen is currently employed at M-Files as the Senior Director of Accounting, where they oversee all group accounting, controls, and financial reporting activities. Allen has been leading a department consisting of three teams and over 10 employees, including service providers. During their time at M-Files, they successfully completed the conversion of group accounting from Finnish GAAP to IFRS.

Prior to their role at M-Files, Allen worked at Deloitte Finland, where they held various positions. As a Senior Manager and Authorized Public Accountant (KHT), they primarily worked with large companies in industries such as telecommunications, ICT, media, and consumer electronics retailing. Allen was responsible for leading audit planning, overseeing the audit field work, solving complex technical accounting issues, and managing client relationships. Allen gained expertise in mergers, de-mergers, IFRS implementation, and first adoption projects.

Before their role at Deloitte Finland, Allen worked as a Tax Auditor at Verohallinto, performing tax audits on small privately owned Finnish companies. Allen also handled filed tax returns during the summer months.

Allen's early work experience includes positions at Liikennevirasto / Trafikverket / Finnish Transport Agency, where they worked as an Accounting Specialist and Accounting Assistant, primarily focused on accounts payable and bookkeeping. Allen also worked at Aldata as a User Interface Designer and Office Assistant (part-time).

Allen Fang received their Master's degree in Accounting from Aalto University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2015. Prior to their university studies, they obtained their Ylioppilas degree from Munkkiniemen yhteiskoulu between 2003 and 2006. Additionally, they earned the title of Authorized Public Accountant (KHT) in December 2016 from the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH).
