Emilia Kwiatkowska-van Dijk

Emilia Kwiatkowska-van Dijk has a diverse work experience in the fields of UX design, integration engineering, business analysis, software testing, and project coordination.

Emilia currently works at M-Files as a UX Designer, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Qvantel from October 2016 to April 2022, holding various roles including Senior UX Designer and Integration Engineer. Emilia'sresponsibilities at Qvantel included facilitating client's product visions, identifying design problems and devising solutions, gathering and analyzing data requirements, and translating requirements into epics and user stories.

Before Qvantel, Emilia worked at Lionbridge from March 2011 to January 2016 as a Software Testing Engineer. Emilia'stasks included error management, project coordination, audio engineering of speech, software testing of various applications and interfaces, executing test scripts, and reporting defects.

In addition to their industry experience, Emilia has also gained valuable experience during their time at TAMK - Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Emilia worked as a Production Assistant at MindTrek in 2014, contributing to the organization of an international forum on the future of technology, digital media, and business. Emilia also served as a Project Assistant and Coordinator of TAMK Art, Music and Media 7th International Week, where they were responsible for communication with external participants, information package design, practical arrangements, social media marketing, and promotion of workshops.

Emilia Kwiatkowska-van Dijk pursued a Bachelor's Degree in International Media from 2011 to 2015 at Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Tourism and Recreation degree, specializing in Tourism Policy, from The Eugeniusz Piasecki University School of Physical Education during the period of 2005 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Emilia also acquired additional certifications. In February 2019, they received a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation. Furthermore, they obtained The Fundaments of Digital Marketing certification from IAB in July 2018.
