Hugo Uusi-Mikkola

Hugo Uusi-Mikkola has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Hugo began their career in 2018, working as a Ski-center worker at Sappeen Matkailukeskus and later as a Construction Worker at Porhio Yhtiöt Oy. In 2019, they served as a Reserve Officer at Pools before transitioning to a Bartender role at Dom Mikkeli in the same year.

In 2020, Hugo joined Probba ry as a Project Coordinator, gaining valuable skills in board work, team work, and time management. Hugo then moved on to UPM Specialty Papers in 2021, where they worked as a Make-to-Stock planner, specializing in supply planning for Make-To-Stock customers in Europe, UK, and USA.

Hugo's most recent work experience is with M-Files, a growing SaaS company. Hugo started in 2022 as a Commercial Operations Trainee, responsible for handling the entire quote-to-cash process, including license delivery. Hugo continued in this role part-time while pursuing studies. In 2023, they were promoted to the position of Junior Finance Specialist at M-Files.

Throughout their career, Hugo has demonstrated adaptability, learning new skills and excelling in various roles within different organizations.

Hugo Uusi-Mikkola's education history starts in 2015 when they attended Hatanpään lukio and obtained their High School Diploma in 2018. After that, from 2019 to 2022, they enrolled in Aalto University and completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BScBA) with a focus on International Business. During their undergraduate studies, in 2022, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at National Chengchi University for a semester as part of an exchange program. Following their bachelor's degree, Hugo pursued further education at Aalto University and from 2022 to 2025, they worked towards achieving a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information and Service Management.

In terms of additional certifications, Hugo obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Excellence Finland in March 2023.
