Joonas Koski

Joonas Koski has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Joonas is currently working at M-Files as a Design Manager, where they started in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Designer at M-Files from June 2022 to November 2022.

Before joining M-Files, Joonas worked at New Things Co as a Senior Designer and Partner from May 2018 to June 2022. Here, they were involved in meaningful design projects and worked fluently with all stages of service design.

Prior to New Things Co, Joonas worked at Valuemotive as a Lead Service Designer from January 2017 to May 2018. In addition to hands-on design work, they were responsible for recruiting new employees and creating business opportunities combining Data Science, Design, and Development.

Joonas also gained experience at W3 Group Finland Oy, where they worked from October 2012 to January 2017. Joonas held various roles, including Team Lead and Designer, and contributed to projects ranging from start-up cases to large-scale ERP/CRM and integration projects. Joonas played a key role in doubling the company's size and was involved in HR and business management tasks. Joonas also provided Agile coaching and mentoring to clients and employees.

Earlier in their career, Joonas worked at Accenture as an Analyst, where they initially served as a data analyst from June 2012 to August 2012. In their second stint at Accenture, they took on the role of a junior service manager, leading and coordinating an off-shore team. Joonas was responsible for tasks such as testing, project management, facilitating meetings, and data analysis and visualization.

Before joining Accenture, Joonas worked at Birdstep Technology as a Junior Test Engineer from January 2012 to May 2012. Here, they gained experience in building test environments, verifying issues, and providing assistance to the development team.

Joonas started their career at GoExcellent, where they worked in IT support and sales from October 2010 to May 2011.

Overall, Joonas Koski has held various roles in design, service management, analysis, and IT support throughout their career. Joonas has demonstrated skills in project management, recruitment, Agile coaching, and facilitating meetings.

Joonas Koski completed their Bachelor's Degree in ICT from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in 2012. Joonas then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Service Innovation and Design from Laurea University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2018. Joonas has additional certifications including Certified Scrum Master® and Certified Scrum Product Owner® from Scrum Alliance, Inc., as well as certifications in ITIL Foundation and Prince2 Foundation.
