Mikko Huopaniemi

Mikko Huopaniemi has extensive work experience in finance and business control roles. Mikko is currently working at M-Files Corporation as a Senior Finance Manager, a position they have held since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as a Business Controller from October 2016 to October 2020.

Before joining M-Files Corporation, Mikko worked at Microsoft from April 2014 to September 2016 as a Senior Finance Manager for Mobile Devices Sales. In this role, they were responsible for financial and business planning activities, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Mikko's earliest work experience was at Nokia, where they held various roles from September 2004 to April 2014. Mikko started as a Business Analyst in Services F&C, where they focused on controlling and analyzing OPEX for mobile game development projects. Mikko then worked as a Senior Business Analyst in Global Sales Operations F&C, managing the revenue recognition process for mobile content sales. Later, they became a Business Controller in Global Sales & Marketing F&C, responsible for controlling annual OPEX budgets and providing financial analysis to support decision making.

Throughout their career, Mikko has demonstrated strong financial management skills, budgeting expertise, and the ability to provide strategic insights for cost management and performance improvement.

Mikko Huopaniemi's education history begins in 1993 when they attended Kauniaisten lukio high school. Mikko completed their studies at this institution in 1996. Following this, Mikko enrolled at Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu in 1998, completing their MSc degree in Economics and Business Administration in 2004.
