Pekka Kovamäki

Pekka Kovamäki has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Pekka started their career as a Trainee at Insta DefSec Oy in May 2008, where they provided support for IT management. In October 2009, they joined Gemilo as a Sales Manager, specializing in solution selling and social media consulting. At Gemilo, they played a crucial role in designing digital operating models for customers based on their business processes.

In August 2010, Kovamäki joined M-Files as a Systems Specialist. Within a year, they were promoted to the role of Key Account Manager, where they managed key accounts and ensured successful customer relationships. Pekka subsequently transitioned to the role of Account Executive in March 2016, responsible for driving sales and expanding the customer base.

Recognizing their skills and expertise, Kovamäki was then promoted to the position of Senior Account Executive in June 2018. In this role, they leveraged their knowledge of M-Files' intelligent information management solution to deliver connected content and intelligent automation to key accounts. Later, they assumed the position of Senior Sales Analyst in January 2022 before being promoted back to the role of Senior Account Executive in January 2023, where they continue to excel in changing the way organizations manage information and improve productivity for knowledge workers.

Pekka Kovamäki began their education at Kangasala Senior High School, where they obtained their Matriculation examination in 2001. Pekka then attended Ilmavoimien Teknillinen Koulu, Finnish Air Force, from 2004 to 2005, earning an AUK degree. Following that, they enrolled at Tampere University of Technology from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Science degree. Their field of study focused on Information and Knowledge Management, Information Security, and Software Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Pekka Kovamäki has acquired several certifications from M-Files Corporation. These include the M-Files Certified Business Administrator, M-Files Certified IT Administrator, and M-Files Certified User.
