Following this, in 2013, Reed obtained a CRIS (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist) designation from the International Risk Management Institute (IRMI), specializing in Construction Risk and Insurance. Prior to their specialization in insurance, Reed pursued a degree in Marketing, completing their studies at McNeese State University from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, in September 2020, Reed obtained the TRIP (Transportation Risk and Insurance Professional) certification from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI).
