Prior to their specialization in insurance, Reed pursued a degree in Marketing, completing their studies at McNeese State University from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, in September 2020, Reed obtained the TRIP (Transportation Risk and Insurance Professional) certification from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI).
