Prior to this role, Burk worked as a consultant in healthcare construction management from 2012 to 2014. Burk's career includes significant positions as Executive Vice President at the Nashville offices of both KBR Building Group from 2004 to 2010 and Bovis Lend Lease from 2000 to 2004. Burk's academic background includes studies at Middle Tennessee State University from 1966 to 1968.
