Teresa Gathoni

Teresa Gathoni is an experienced professional currently serving as the Deputy Head of Back Office in Kenya for Watu Credit since September 2017. In this role, Teresa is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day operations to meet financial, human capital, and operational KPIs. Prior positions include Back Office Supervisor and involvement in asset finance operations, focusing on transaction analysis and loan restructuring. Teresa's career also includes administrative support at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and a finance graduate role with the Kenya Tea Development Agency. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree in Tax Administration from the Kenya School of Revenue Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Kabianga.
