Matt Latimore

Latimore is the founder and president of M Resources, a company established to trade coal, predominantly metallurgical coal to global steel mills for the manufacture of coke and steel. Latimore serves as a non-executive director at Magnum Mining and Exploration Ltd (2021–Present) and Stanmore Resources Limited (2022–Present). Latimore was a non-executive director at Bowen Coking Coal Ltd from 2020 to 2023. Latimore completed the GAICD Directors Course Diploma at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2011. Prior to founding M Resources, Latimore was the General Manager for Sales and Marketing at the Curragh mine of Wesfarmers Ltd, handling metallurgical coal sales to steel mills worldwide and thermal coal sales to utilities, and served as a Director of Curragh Coal Sales Pty Ltd; prior to Wesfarmers, Latimore held several positions at Mitsui & Co in Australia and Japan.
