Chris Timmins

Chris Timmins is an experienced motorsport engineer with a career spanning over 17 years, presently serving as a Rally Raid Engineer at M-Sport UK Ltd, focusing on preparations for Dakar 2025. Since joining M-Sport in late 2008, Chris has held various roles, including Rally Engineer and Rally1 Test Team Controller, showcasing extensive knowledge of vehicle dynamics across different surfaces. In parallel, Chris serves as a Company Director at C1-R Motorsport Ltd, providing engineering support and managing a successful rally team that won the BRC 2 Championship in 2016 and the BTRDA GpN Championship in 2019. Additional experience includes team management roles at RB-RT Inspira Rally Team and ME Rallysport, along with freelance positions in motorsport including test and race support for various teams in prestigious events like Le Mans.
