Service Engineer at M Squared Lasers

Ted Borger has worked in various roles in the electro-optics field since 2002. Ted began their career as a Laser Electro-Optic Technician at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where they were responsible for operating XeF2 excimer lasers and performing low and high resolution damage site microscopy. In 2008, they moved to the University of Texas at Austin, where they served as a Lead Laser Technician/Shot Director. In this role, they were responsible for laser operations, experiment development, and shot operations. From 2011 to 2014, Ted worked as a Senior Laser Electro-Optic Technician at National Energetics, where they aided in the design, production scheduling, assembly, operation and troubleshooting of custom high-energy short pulse optical parametric amplification based laser systems. Ted then moved to Flextronics in 2013, where they served as a Laser Process Engineer. In 2019, Ted began working as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at the University of Rochester, and in 2020, they joined M Squared as a Service Engineer.

Ted Borger attended Texas State Technical College, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Laser Electro-Optic Technology.
