Christina Velez is a seasoned professional in commercial real estate underwriting, currently serving as a Senior Commercial Real Estate Underwriter at M.Y. Safra Bank since July 2023. Previously, Christina held the position of Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager at KeyBank Commercial, and Vice President, Senior Real Estate Underwriter at Santander Bank, N.A., where responsibilities included analyzing and underwriting diverse loan transactions and managing a substantial multi-family loan portfolio. Christina's earlier career includes significant roles at PB Capital Corporation and Hypo Real Estate Capital Corporation, focusing on portfolio management, borrower negotiations, and due diligence in loan processes. Christina holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego, complemented by international study experience at Universitat de Barcelona.
