Andrew Schmitz

Andrew Schmitz currently serves as the VP of Finance at M13, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on disruptive software businesses, since March 2024. Prior to this role, Andrew was the Vice President of Finance at CSC Generation, where the focus was on transforming retail and e-commerce brands. Andrew also has experience as Vice President at Palm Tree LLC, specializing in M&A consulting and advisory services within the private equity investment lifecycle. Earlier in the career, experience included being an Associate at OpenGate Capital, a Senior Associate at Macquarie Investment Management Private Markets, and a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. Andrew holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Cum Laude) from the University of San Diego.
