Marcus Box is the CEO and Co-founder of M2A Media, where leadership focuses on developing innovative public cloud solutions for video management and publishing since February 2016. Prior to this role, Marcus served at BBC from April 2007 to February 2016, holding various engineering positions, including Head of Engineering for Platform and Common Services and Group Engineering Manager for Media Services, overseeing significant engineering teams and projects related to media workflows and cloud-based delivery systems. Earlier experience includes a position as a Software Engineer at Motorola from 2002 to 2007. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool, obtained between 1995 and 1998.
