Matt Shepherd has extensive work experience in the market research industry. Matt is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts at M3 Global Research since October 2021. Before that, they worked as a Sales Director at Dynata from February 2019 to August 2021. Prior to that, they held the same position at Critical Mix from October 2017 to February 2019.
Matt has also worked at Lightspeed Research, where they served in various roles including Director of Media EMEA from February 2017 to August 2017, Director of Sales EMEA for Consumer and Healthcare Divisions from March 2015 to February 2017, and Director of Sales for the UK, France, and Southern Europe from September 2011 to March 2015.
Earlier in their career, Matt worked at GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.) as the Managing Director of Sales for the UK, France, and Southern Europe from January 2010 to September 2011, and as the Managing Director of Sales for the UK and Ireland from May 2007 to December 2009.
Their work experience also includes roles at Mintel, where they were the Director of Mintel Custom Solutions from July 2005 to December 2006, Sales Director for Mintel Retail, Leisure & FMCG from January 2002 to June 2005, and Sales Director for GNPD (Global New Product Database) from January 2001 to December 2001. Matt started their career at Mintel as the Sales Director for POS+ Sales Promotion Database from August 1997 to December 1999.
From 1991 to 1994, Matt Shepherd attended The University of Edinburgh where they pursued a bachelor's degree in History. Matt successfully completed the program and earned an MA (Hons) History degree with a 2:1 classification.
