Sylvain Hetu

Sylvain Hetu is an accomplished legal and corporate affairs professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as President of Simplinsur since May 2022, Sylvain has also held multiple key positions at M3 Financial Group, including Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer and EVP of Corporate Affairs and General Counsel since January 2019. Additionally, Sylvain has been Vice President and General Counsel at Multi-Prêts/Mortgage Alliance Group since June 2016. Previous roles include Assistant General Counsel at AIG Insurance Company of Canada, Business Consultant at Maykland Consulting Inc., and Senior Vice-President of Legal, Compliance, and Secretary at AXA Canada Inc. Sylvain's career began as a lawyer at Laurentienne Générale and as Manager and Corporate Secretary at Boréal Assurance. Sylvain holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Investments and Securities from HEC Montréal.
