Rebecca (Bec) Kurzynske has extensive work experience in the education sector, starting as a Social Studies Teacher at Oconto Falls High School from 2004 to 2005. Rebecca (Bec) then joined the Pulaski Community School District, where they held various positions such as Learning Support Teacher, Reading Teacher, and Social Studies Teacher from 2005 to 2011. Rebecca (Bec) later served as Pulaski Community Middle School Associate Principal from 2011 to 2012 and then as the Director of Personnel and Employee Growth from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as the Assistant Superintendent and Director of Personnel. Finally, they became the Superintendent of Schools from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, Kurzynske joined M3 Insurance as the Director of the EDGE Practice Group within the Employee Benefits division and also as an Account Executive. In 2022, they became the Director of Employee Benefits for the Northeast Wisconsin Region. Additionally, they volunteered as a Board Member for the M3 INSURANCE FOUNDATION INC, starting in October 2019.
Rebecca (Bec) Kurzynske completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from St. Norbert College between 2000 and 2004. Rebecca (Bec) then obtained a Master of Education degree in Reading Teacher Education from Viterbo University from 2006 to 2009. In 2009 to 2011, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from National Louis University. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a degree in Superintendency and Educational System Administration at Viterbo University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Insurance Intermediary (Agent) from the State of Wisconsin in February 2019 and various certifications from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in subjects like Superintendent, Director of Instruction, and Principal.
