Rolando Matias

Rolando Matias is a seasoned design strategist and market lead with extensive experience in senior living and mixed-use environments. Currently serving as Market Lead/Design Strategist at MA Design since January 2022, Rolando has previously held significant roles, including Design Strategist/Principal at Brown & Bills Architects and Principal/Director of Senior Living Environments at Berardi + Partners, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed overseeing diverse senior living options from independent to memory care. Additionally, Rolando has experience as Managing Director at L2M Architects in Ohio. Outside the realm of architecture, Rolando is a professional musician and band leader, specializing in jazz and Latin music, with a focus on ethnomusicology related to Southern and Afro-Caribbean cultures. Education was completed at The Ohio State University.
