Kristen Verhalen is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in finance and operations. Currently serving as an Accounting Specialist at M&A Technology since April 2023, Kristen previously held the role of Finance & Operations Coordinator at Kaye/Bassman International from February 2022 to March 2023, and at Sanford Rose Associates International, Inc. from December 2019 to March 2023. Prior to these positions, Kristen was a Staff Accountant and Accounts Payable specialist at CPI One Point from November 2013 to November 2019, where responsibilities included bank reconciliation and full cycle accounts payable. Additionally, Kristen worked as an Accounts Payable and Finance Technician for the City of Lewisville between February 2008 and November 2013. Kristen Verhalen holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from East Texas Baptist University.

Magdy Elwany founded M&A Technology in 1984 as a solutions provider of procurement and network services with a focus on the education market. Since that time, we have achieved steady growth while improving our capabilities to meet the technology service requirements for hundreds of school districts, OEM, and government clients. We manufacture our own line of desktop PC’s, servers, and other IT products in our 40,000 square foot manufacturing facility, enabling us to control the customer’s configuration and product life cycle. We provide both colocation and managed service options depending on our clients’ business needs.
