Brent Pekoba

Brent Pekoba has extensive experience in operations management and maintenance within the metals industry, currently serving as Reduction & Metal Flow Operations Manager at Maaden since March 2012, where Lean Six Sigma principles are applied to enhance productivity and quality. Previous roles at Maaden include various managerial positions focused on maintenance and production operations. Prior to Maaden, Brent worked at BHP Billiton from September 2005 to February 2012, where responsibilities included operations supervision and production operations while adhering to safety regulations. Brent's career began with a military commitment in the South African National Defense Force. Educational qualifications include a BTech Degree in Business Management and a National Higher Diploma in Project Management from Durban University of Technology, as well as a National 'N' Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Richards Bay Technical College.
