Edward Barden

Edward Barden is a highly experienced geologist currently serving as the Director of Resource Development at Maaden since November 2023. Prior to this role, Edward held positions at Rio Tinto as Superintendent Geologist and at 29Metals as Senior Exploration Geologist. Edward's extensive background includes serving as Senior Exploration Geologist and Project Exploration Geologist at EMR Golden Grove, as well as Exploration Geologist at Iluka Resources. Previous experience includes roles as Mine Geologist and Exploration Geologist at MMG Limited, and Exploration Geologist at TERRA SEARCH PTY. LTD. Edward graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geology and Physical Geography from the University of Edinburgh in June 2012.
