Khalid Alsharief

Khalid Alsharief has over two decades of experience at Maaden, starting as a Geologist and progressing to become the Vice President of Strategy & Business Development. Throughout their tenure, they demonstrated expertise in mining operations, strategy development, and business planning. As a key member of the executive team, they played a crucial role in doubling production capability, increasing revenue, and identifying new business opportunities. Their leadership abilities were showcased as they managed teams, led joint ventures, and developed relationships with government agencies to expand Maaden's business potential.

Khalid Alsharief obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mineral Resources and Rock from King Abdulaziz University in 1996, followed by a Master's degree in Exploration Geologist from the same university in 2007. In 2017, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from OMNES Education. Khalid also holds a Post Graduate Diploma from Washington State University, and an EMBA with First Honours Degree from Al Yamamah University. Additionally, they completed certifications in high performance leadership from IMD Business School in 2016 and a leadership program from INSEAD Executive Education.
