Luis H. Chaman

Luis H. Chaman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in commercial and supply chain management within the mining industry. Currently serving as the Director of Commercial and Trading at Maaden, Luis has previously held notable positions, including Regional Commercial Manager - Projects LATAM at Newmont Corporation and various roles at Barrick Gold Corporation, where responsibilities included managing the supply chain for the Pascua Lama Project and leading supply chain enablement initiatives across South America. Additionally, Luis has served as the Procurement and Logistics Department Head at both MINERA BARRICK MISQUICHILCA S.A. and Minsur S.A. Academically, Luis has earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from PAD - Escuela de Dirección de la Universidad de Piura and is pursuing a Doctorate in Direction & Innovation of Institutions at IEU Universidad.
