Mohammed al-Hamed

Mohammed Al-Hamed currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at Maaden since June 2023 and has also held the position of Director of Strategy & Portfolio Management. Additionally, Mohammed is a Technical Committee Member for MAADEN Ivanhoe Electric Exploration Company since January 2025. Prior experience includes various managerial roles at Aramco from August 2006 to May 2023, including Manager of Northern Area Exploration, Manager of Reservoir Characterization, Team Leader in Western Rub' Al-Khali Exploration, and Project Lead for Upstream Ventures and Regional Resources. In terms of education, Mohammed is pursuing an Executive MBA at Esade (2023-2025), completed Executive Courses at Harvard Business School in 2021, and earned a BSc (Hons) in Geology from The University of Manchester (2003-2006).
