Dr. Martin Dinov

Dr. Martin Dinov has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2014 when they co-founded the London Brain Hackers with Dr. Andrew Vladimirov. In 2015, they were a TA for an online course by Johns Hopkins University on Coursera. In 2016, they co-founded Hack the Senses with support from the Wellcome Trust. In 2018, they began working as an AI Engineer, Senior Software Developer, and Senior Data Scientist at Capgemini. In the same year, they joined the Mars Society as the Chair of the Mars Society London Chapter. In 2019, they became a Pledger for Founders Pledge, a freelancer Consultant for Guidepoint, and an Entrepreneur First LD12 Cohort Member for Entrepreneur First. Additionally, they became the CEO and Founder of Maaind, where they are building a fundamentally new approach to AI. In 2020, they became a Mentor for the Space Generation Advisory Council.

Dr. Martin Dinov has an extensive educational background. Dr. Martin obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Software and Information Engineering from Technische Universität Wien in 2012. Dr. Martin then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Bioinformatics from King's College London in 2013. Dr. Martin later completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience and AI at Imperial College London in 2018. In 2020, they obtained an Amateur Radio License (Foundation) from Ofcom. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from Coursera, including Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Networked Life, Statistical Analysis of fMRI Data, and Virology 1: How Viruses Work. Dr. Martin is currently pursuing a Master of Laws - LLM in International Financial and Commercial Law at King's College London, which is expected to be completed in 2024.
