Thomas Huth

Thomas Huth has over 35 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Thomas started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Compuserve Inc, where they worked on pioneering online services and collaborated with innovators in the industry. Thomas then became a Consultant and Independent Contractor at Huth Consulting, providing full-stack application development services to clients in the banking, finance, auto lease, amusement park, and home shopping industries.

In 1999, Thomas joined ecOutlook.com as the Director of Software Architecture, helping the startup grow and implementing development processes alongside the CTO. After that, they worked at BMW Financial Services as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Project Manager, leading projects and playing a crucial role in the creation of the Business Intelligence group within the company.

Thomas's career continued with roles as a Project Manager at Znode, where they supervised the development of an international eMarketplace, and as a Program Manager/Project Manager at eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions, leading a team in building a sales attribution tool and analytics platform.

Thomas then joined Centric Consulting as the National Data & Analytics Practice Manager, where they played a significant role in supporting, managing, and growing the practice, contributing to a revenue increase from $5M to over $13M and doubling the team size.

Thomas later worked at Pillar Technology as a Delivery Manager and Delivery Lead, responsible for delivering software solutions to clients using Agile practices and coaching Scrum teams.

Currently, Thomas is self-employed as a Technical and Business Consultant, partnering with the Director of Systems of a biofuel energy company. Their responsibilities include developing and implementing an IT strategy, creating a data/business intelligence strategy and roadmap, and leading strategic initiatives for technology adoption.

In addition to their extensive work experience, Thomas has expertise in Agile methodologies, Scrum, business intelligence, and project management. Thomas has mentored individuals and teams, helping organizations improve their maturity and achieve their goals.

Thomas Huth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Computer Science from The Ohio State University. In addition, they obtained the SAFe Practitioner certification from the Scaled Agile Framework in October 2016 and the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in February 2014.
