Esther Kneepkens

Esther Kneepkens is currently working as a Medical Physicist in Radiotherapy at Maastro since May 2021. Prior to this role, Esther was a Klinisch fysicus in opleiding in radiotherapy at Catharina Hospital Eindhoven from May 2017 to April 2021. Esther completed their Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering (cum laude) at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2012 and focused their PhD research on hyperthermia-mediated local drug release using MR-guided High Intensity Focused Ultrasound. Esther also has experience in liposome development and imaging techniques such as MRI, SPECT, and fluorescence microscopy. Additionally, Esther has completed various internships related to medical imaging and research projects at institutions like Philips Research and Weizmann Institute of Science.
