Levast Benoît

Principal Scientist at MaaT Pharma

Levast Benoît began their work experience in 2006 at INRA Nouzilly, where their role focused on studying piglet gut microbiota and immunity. Levast then moved on to ENITA Bordeaux in 2010, where they assessed the in vitro probiotic properties. In 2011, they joined VIDO-INTERVAC as a Post-Doctoral Fellow, where they researched the development of a safe and effective vaccine for PRRS, evaluating the potential of novel adjuvants. In 2013, they became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at McGill University, before transitioning to MaaT Pharma in 2016 as a Principal Scientist. Currently, in 2022, they are working as a Project Lead at BIOASTER.

Levast Benoît obtained a Master's degree in biology from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) from 2001 to 2006. Levast then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Université de Tours in the field of Lymphocytes and Mucosal Immunity, completing it from 2006 to 2010.
