Kevin Matulef

Kevin Matulef has a diverse work experience. Kevin co-founded and served as the CTO for Mabel from 2020. Before that, they co-founded Calyx Health in 2017, where they designed and operated a primary care clinic and developed software to improve disease management. Kevin worked on various data science projects as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories from 2014 to 2017. Kevin also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus University in 2013 and at IIIS, ITCS, Tsinghua University from 2009 to 2011. Kevin gained experience as a Software Engineer at MongoDB in 2011 and as a Graduate Resident Tutor and Researcher at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2003 to 2009. Kevin was a Research Intern at UK Government Communications Headquarters in 2002 and at the National Security Agency in 2001. Additionally, Kevin worked as a Software Design Engineer in Test at Microsoft in 2000.

Kevin Matulef has a Ph.D in Mathematics/Theoretical Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Kevin also earned a Master of Advanced Study in Mathematics from Cambridge University and a Sc.B in Mathematics-Computer Science from Brown University.
