Johannes Whittam (Hannis)

Johannes (Hannis) Whittam has extensive work experience in the engineering field, particularly in construction and infrastructure projects. Johannes (Hannis) started their career as an Assistant Engineer at Flint & Neill Limited in 2009. Johannes (Hannis) then joined COWI as a Senior Engineer in 2013. After working on various projects, including the design of the Mersey Gateway Bridge, they took a career break in 2018 to pursue their passion for skiing and snowboarding while traveling in Switzerland.

In 2018, Whittam joined Bridges to Prosperity, where they held multiple roles. As the Rwanda Program Director, they successfully secured a national-level memorandum of understanding with the Rwandan government to construct 355 footbridges.
