Jeff Zupka

Jeff Zupka has an extensive work history in the technology industry. Jeff currently works as an Engineering Manager at mabl since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company from February 2020 to July 2020.

Before joining mabl, Jeff worked at Turo for several years. From December 2016 to December 2019, they held the role of Engineering Director, leading a 15+ person Product Engineering team and spearheading the growth of Turo's international business. Prior to that, from January 2015 to December 2016, they were a Lead Software Engineer, managing a cross-functional team and implementing a design system for Turo's rebranding. From February 2012 to January 2015, they served as a Senior Software Engineer, working on various features and bug fixes for the product.

Earlier in their career, Jeff worked at Spatial Engineering as a Software Engineer from 2009 to 2012, where they were involved in developing GIS solutions for the US military. Jeff also worked at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport as an Electrical Engineer from July 2002 to February 2009, specializing in submarine SONAR systems and leading a team in building a command and control application.

Throughout their career, Jeff has gained experience in engineering management, software development, and technical leadership, working with languages and technologies such as Java, C#, .NET, ASP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, Solr, MySQL, and AWS.

Jeff Zupka obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University, completing their education from 1998 to 2002.
