Catalina Taltavull Carretero started their work experience as an Aeronautical Designer in fluids and electrical systems at EDAG- ELAN ENGINEERING in 2009. Catalina then pursued their PhD at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where they conducted research, authored 16 research papers, and presented at 16 international conferences. In 2014, Catalina worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, specializing in the evaluation of damage caused by volcanic ash ingestion in jet engines. During this time, they also created the PROVIDA consortium. From 2015 to 2017, Catalina served as a Clare Hall Junior Research Fellow at Clare Hall College, where they organized events and represented the postdoctoral community. In 2019, they became the Manager of Unique Personality Boutique Hotels at Flor de Rosassa SL. Currently, they hold a position in Business Development at Mabrian Technologies Official.
Catalina Taltavull Carretero has a diverse education history spanning several institutions and fields of study. In 2020 to 2021, they attended Esade and pursued an Executive Master in Business Analytics (EMIBA), focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In 2011 to 2012, they studied at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, obtaining a Master degree in materials science, specializing in Materials Science. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2009, they completed a Master degree in structural materials for new technologies at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Catalina's undergraduate studies took place at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Aeronautical Technical Engineering, with a specialization in Aerospace equipments and materials.
