Thomas McDermott

Thomas McDermott, CPA, CGMA has a strong background in finance and accounting. Thomas has held various leadership roles throughout their career.

From 2018 to the present, McDermott worked for MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions, first serving as the Global Director of Finance and then being promoted to Vice President of Finance - Industrial Solutions in June 2020.

Prior to that, McDermott worked for MacDermid Performance Solutions from 2016 to 2018 as the Director of Finance - Americas.

In 2016, they briefly worked at New Haven Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Director, Financial Controller.

From 2009 to 2016, McDermott worked for Specialized Technology Resources, Inc., where they held several positions, including Controller and Chief Compliance Director. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the global Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Compliance teams, and was involved in a wide range of activities including SEC Reporting, Accounting, FP&A, Investor Relations, and M&A Support.

McDermott began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2003 as a Senior Associate until 2009.

Thomas McDermott, CPA, CGMA has a Master's Degree in Accounting & Taxation from the University of Hartford, which they earned from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, which they completed from 1999 to 2003. Thomas also attended Plainville High School from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their education, they hold the certifications of Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant, both obtained through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
