Control Design Engineer at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions

Madelynne Pirkl has a diverse work experience history. Madelynne most recently worked as a Control Design Engineer at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions since December 2021. Prior to that, from May 2019 to November 2021, they worked at Siemens as a Building Automations Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for designing comprehensive building automation control packages for various locations, collaborating with different stakeholders, and overseeing projects across the US. Before joining Siemens, Madelynne worked at George Fox University from September 2016 to May 2019, where they served as a Machine Shop Supervisor, providing training and guidance to students and assisting with design decisions. Additionally, they worked as a Student Grader in the Physics Department at George Fox University during the same period. Madelynne also gained valuable experience as a Summer Intern with Micro Systems Engineering, Inc. in June 2018, where they focused on researching and demonstrating micro-actuator technologies for application in production line testing features. Lastly, they completed a Mechanical Engineering Internship at HP in the summer of 2017, where they contributed to organizing and standardizing die cut drawings and databases while managing their own set of elastomer parts.

Madelynne Pirkl pursued their education at George Fox University from 2015 to 2019. Madelynne completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering during this time.
