Nidal is a holder of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Nottingham University in the United Kingdom and a Master of Science degree in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of California at Berkeley, USA
Nidal Salameh has over 39 years of experience in infrastructure construction. He started his career in 1982 working for a contractor in Qatar and was involved the construction of the Corniche Sea Wall in Doha. In 1988 he moved to the UAE where he joined MACE as a Project Manager. He worked there for 18 years, the last 6 of which he served as Managing Director. Throughout his tenure at MACE UAE, Nidal executed numerous sewerage, storm water, potable water and other utilities projects in Abu Dhabi. He gained extensive and specialized experience in ground water dewatering, tunneling, deep trench excavation, pipeline network construction, specialized trenchless pipeline rehabilitation as well as operation & maintenance of sewerage, drainage and irrigation networks.
Nidal identified the potential in the State of Qatar and left Abu Dhabi to establish MACE Qatar WLL in Doha in September 2006 where he is currently Managing Director.
