Darren Cunningham is a Senior BIM Manager at Mace, currently working on the Qiddiya project in Saudi Arabia. With extensive experience in BIM and VDC management, they have led teams in mechanical design across various sectors, including pharmaceutical and oil production facilities. Darren holds a BTEC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, a PGDip, and an MSc in Professional Development, and is currently pursuing a doctorate focused on elite performance and team dynamics. Previously, they held engineering and managerial roles at companies such as AVID Technology Group Ltd. and Oryx Energies. Outside of work, Darren enjoys sports, particularly rugby union, where they are a qualified Level 4 coach.
