Philip Poole

Philip Poole is an experienced Programme Manager and Army Officer with a distinguished career spanning over three decades in Defence Acquisition and Capability Management. Philip served at HQ Army Training and Recruiting Division from February 2015 to April 2017, leading a major change programme and delivering a £25 million project with substantial savings. Prior to that, Philip spent 20 years in the Royal Engineers, culminating in the role of Defence Capability Centre Development Officer. As Director at Oakdale Consultancy from 2009 to 2017, Philip provided expert advice on Defence Acquisition, including high-profile conference organization. Most recently, Philip worked with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation from October 2017 to February 2021, focusing on Business Cases and Assurance, and is currently with Mace, coordinating Outline Business Cases. Philip holds a Master of Defence Administration from Cranfield University with distinction.
