Crystal McKellar

Crystal McKellar is the Founder and Managing Partner at Aloft VC, where a venture capital fund focuses on early-stage companies addressing significant challenges in national defense and healthcare. In addition to leading Aloft VC since October 2019, Crystal serves as an investor in several technology and defense-related companies, including Mach Industries, Vannevar Labs, Obviant, Angle Health, and Brave Health. Also involved in governance, Crystal is a board member at Cooler Heads Care and Siren, and previously contributed as a guest VC writer for TechCrunch. Prior experience includes serving as Managing Director at Mithril Capital Management LLC from 2012 to 2019. Crystal holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and has degrees from the University of Oxford and Yale University.
